______________________________________________________________________________
An update that has three recommended fixes can now be
installed.
Description:
This update for s390-tools fixes the following issues:
- Extended data collection. (bsc#1165304) The update extends the data
collection to collect output for ethtool, tc, bridge and hyptop output.
The update extends the data collection to collect nvme and smc device
information. With the update the output of lsof will be written to a
separate file and the journalctl will be extended to 100000 lines.
- The zipl boot loader may crash during boot. (bsc#1165308) This fix
implement vsnprintf and make use of it.
- zpcictl --reset only issued a SCLP reset and leaves the PCI function in
an error state. (bsc#1165981) With this update an OS level recovery will
be initiated by calling /sys/bus/devices/"device"/recover after the SCLP
reset.
