[sles-beta] Question concerning the kernel version SLES11-SP3 GMC2 compared with SLES11-SP2

HI

I also have two question.

Q1
Dose SLES SP3 x64 full support Secure Boot of UEFI?
It also use shim ,right ?
Does it work on GMC2 or we need to waiting until SLES 11 SP3 GM?

Q2
When I enable the multipath function on SLES 11 SP3 GMC2, USB key cannot mount automatically.
Has any resolution ?

You want to take the kernel _SOURCE_ from the SLES 11 SP2 update channel and recompile on SLES 11 SP3?

That wont work: as I said, the SLES 11 SP2 and SP3 kernel share the same upstream _base_, but the two kernels have different patches on top.

In other words:

3.0.76-xxxx (SLES 11 SP2) != 3.0.76-yyyy (SLES 11 SP3).

In addition, recompiling the kernel renders the _whole_ system of the customer unsupported by SUSE.

DO NOT recompile any packages from SUSE, and please to not suggest anybody to do so.  See also the Release Notes:
