As said in our monday call, our recommendation is btrfs
for the OS (snapshot/rollback), and xfs for data.

I know that Oracle supports xfs, and I am not aware that
EMC², Veritas or VMware would not support xfs either.

Thus there are more choices than ext4 "only".

If you have different information, I'll push to bring
this up with the respective partners.
