Sorry, my instructions were incomplete (I'm not a specialist in CJK
input methods).

You need to first install the ibus subpackage for your target language.
This should be done is done automatically if you choose the language
during install but it won't be done otherwise.

Do to so, just run "zypper in locale(ibus:jp)", it will cause zypper to
install the "right" ibus component for japanese. Then, you need to
logout from the current desktop session, login again and add the input
method (you will notice new input method for japanese, Anthy).

I'm not sure we will be able to have it for GA, since it would rely on
gnome-initial-setup which is not part of SLE12. Could you open a SR,
just to make sure we track it properly ?
