NO this is not the case, because these are the logfiles from LINUXRC from a server installation on VMware ESXi

Because I cannot get the network running at all, there is no way to get logfiles out of the system

I would really like to send you the logs requested, but any idea to get the network running?

This is from grep wicked /var/log/messages.

You can only see, that wicked somehow

This is from ipup eth0 in wicked debug mode

Hi,

Thank you for reporting this.

I believe this has been already fixed in 0.6.1 version of wicked, but

to be sure I would need to look into the logs of wickedd and

wickedd-nanny.

I think the logs attached to:

Bug 890643 - wicked doesn't wait long enough on large networks

already correspond to this issue, isn't it?

Otherwise could you please attach new logs as per instruction:

‒ set DEBUG=all in /etc/sysconfig/network/config

‒ systemctl restart wickedd

‒ wicked --debug all ifup all # systemctl restart wicked

‒ wicked ifstatus all > status.log

‒ wicked show-config > configs.log

‒ journalctl -b -o short-iso > wicked.log

Thank you.

P.S. If you are willing to re-test with wicked 0.6.1, I can provide you

with the RPMs. Just tell me...
