Grand Wet Afternoon Stefan,

Do you have a feeling in your water on when VMware will start their test of SLE12. From GMC2 (Monday 16th) or will they wait until GMC3 on Monday October 27th? Without their "tools" running it is a real pain trying to do work. Your open-vm stuff is missing quite a lot of bits and bobs. Mapping to host directories is missing and that feature is very well used.

Correct. That's why we mentioned how to get to GM state, see below.

Currently the next planned release is the official one on Oct 27th on the official download pages.

As mentioned, you don't need them, you can simply use the GMC2 images and in the package manager update to all new versions (once you have registered).
